Aardvark Animal Hospital is looking for a dedicated Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to join our client care team.
About the Role:
As the first point of contact for our clients, you’ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming, low-stress experience for pets and their families. Responsibilities include phone and in-person communication, appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out, client education, and administrative support to our medical team.
Responsibilities Include
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, text, email, and in-person interactions.
- Assist clients with scheduling appointments and managing their accounts.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Collaborate with veterinary staff to relay important information regarding patient care.
- Educate clients on available services.
- Routine cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and hygienic veterinary hospital environment
- Client assistance with Compassionate Care
Skills
- Excellent communication, both verbal and written, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a busy, compassionate environment
- Prior experience in a veterinary, medical, or customer service setting
- Fear Free Certification (training provided if not already certified) and Veterinary CSR continuing education required.
- Availability Monday 9 AM - 8 PM, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 9 AM - 6 PM, and Saturday (REQUIRED) 9 AM - 1 PM.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Able to handle the sights, sounds, and smells common in a veterinary setting
- Unfazed by medical procedures and able to maintain composure during stressful situations
- Compassionate and composed in the face of challenging or emotional medical cases
- Genuinely passionate about the well-being of animals and delivering the highest level of customer service to our clients.

Hourly pay based on experience.
Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
