Hotel General Manager

Aarchway Inn is Moab's premier independent hotel, and for the first time since 2006, we are seeking an experienced and charismatic General Manager to lead our team. If selected, you will have an opportunity to work alongside our departing legendary General Manager to gain valuable insights into the family-like workplace culture that has produced consistently excellent guest reviews, a long-tenured staff, and the best year the hotel has ever had in 2023. Position Duties:

- Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, including front desk, F&B, guest relations, and night audit.
- Ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes for guests.
- Train and supervise front desk staff to provide excellent customer service.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Manage room reservations and ensure accurate billing.
- Monitor and maintain hotel inventory, including supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient hotel operations.
- Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
- Utilize phone systems and maintain proper phone etiquette.

Required Qualifications:

- Proven senior leadership experience in hotel management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Proficient in using hotel management software systems.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of local regulations and safety standards in the hospitality industry.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
