🔍 About the Role
Aaratech Inc is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud infrastructure supporting enterprise-level applications. This role requires deep expertise in AWS services, automation, cloud security, and scalable architecture. You will work closely with engineering, DevOps, and security teams to drive cloud strategy and ensure robust, high-performing environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of highly available, secure, and scalable AWS cloud solutions
- Manage and optimize AWS environments across EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, EKS, VPC, IAM, CloudFront, and more
- Develop and enforce cloud governance, security baselines, and compliance standards
- Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or CloudFormation) to automate provisioning and configuration
- Troubleshoot complex cloud, networking, and performance issues
- Guide cost optimization strategies and monitor resource utilization
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the DevOps/Cloud team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments to support releases and cloud initiatives
Requirements
- 6–8 years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering, with strong focus on AWS
- Deep expertise in core AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, Lambda, RDS, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, load balancing, and identity management
- Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience with CI/CD automation, scripting, and DevOps tools (Python, Bash, Git, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks and best practices
- AWS Professional-level certifications (Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Engineer Professional) preferred
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
