F-16 Maintenance Supervisor - 18083

Estimated Start Date: April 2026

The F-16 Maintenance Supervisor plans and directs maintenance operations and ensures policy and procedures are followed to achieve established goals and objectives.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Supervise and assign program workloads as well as duties for entire shifts of workers performing aircraft maintenance repair, inspection, and modifications.
  • Maintain knowledge of supply procedures, and Service Bulletins/Letters and Airworthiness Directives.
  • Must be highly proficient in using technical data and drawings to locate part numbers and accomplish repairs.
  • Must have knowledge of F-16 aircraft avionics and electrical systems.
  • Inspects, troubleshoots, repairs, overhauls and modifies aircraft systems and powerplants in accordance with established written procedures, specifications, and standards.
  • Candidate must be knowledgeable in F-16 aircraft systems operation and maintenance to include landing gear, powerplants, flight controls, disassembly, reassembly, rigging and aircraft movement.
  • Must be able to read and speak English. Comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications


What you will need to be successful in this role:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
  • Must meet one of the following requirements:
    • A Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of related experience in aircraft maintenance
    • An Associate's degree plus 6 years of related experience in aircraft maintenance
    • High School Diploma plus 10 years of related experience in aircraft maintenance
  • At least 10 years working F-16 aircraft experience with thorough understanding of Fighter Aircraft Systems and Flight Line Operations.
  • Must have leadership experience in an F-16 aircraft maintenance environment.

Compensation:

The anticipated salary for this position is $133,900 annually. This range reflects the base salary for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education, and location. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for a bonus. AAR offers a competitive benefits package, including medical/dental/vision/life/and AD&D insurance, 401(k) savings plan with employer match, paid time off and holiday pay, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth.
