What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician 1st shift and 3rd shift position at AAP Staff?
Job Summary:
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on processing equipment, including but not limited to mixing tanks, spray dryers, powder blenders, milling equipment, and ovens
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.
- Ensure proper functioning of HVAC, plumbing, and other facility systems supporting manufacturing operations.
- Calibrate and test equipment to ensure compliance with production specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Assist in the installation, relocation, or removal of machinery and equipment.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in equipment maintenance within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or food processing industries.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment such as mixing tanks, spray dryers, powder blenders, and milling machines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks requiring prolonged standing, bending, and reaching.
