What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembler / Production Worker position at AAP Staff?
Job Summary:
Manufacturing – Interpret drawings to manufacture parts using woodworking equipment. Machinery operated includes circular saws, drill press, band saw, drum/disc sanders, chop saw, nail guns, screw guns and forklift. Pack and ship product per customer specific requirements)
- Steady use of hands and arms for repetitive type motions associated with swinging a
- Hammer, using an 11 lb nail gun and manipulation of parts up to 10 lbs
- Bend, stoop, climb, stand, walk, turn and pivot for the duration of the work day
- Coordinated use of hand-held power tools and precision machinery
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret product drawings/blue prints
- Must be able to read and interpret tape measures and other similar measuring devices
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
