Ag Equipment Operator

We operate a typical corn and bean farm in North Dakota, farming approximately 3200 acres both dryland and irrigated acres. We utilize primarily Case IH equipment following a on farm maintenance program. Duties include operating machinery in the field and yard, hauling commodities to local grain elevator, repairing and maintaining equipment to field readiness, and other duties as assigned. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: attach/detach implements; clean work areas; construct facilities; direct and monitor work during planting and harvesting; haul and spread materials such as but not limited to fertilizer to condition the soil; load crops and drive trucks to transport to and from fields and/or storage locations or facilities; load and unload materials and commodities; load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields; maintain grounds and landscaping; maintain inventory; mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer type machinery; operate self propelled machinery; participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops; position boxes/bags at ends of machinery to catch products, remove and close full containers; repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; set up repair, maintain, and operate specialized equipment; tilling soil, transplanting, weeding, thinning, pruning crops; use hand tools such as such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, knives, wrenches, crow bars, air tools, and electric tools. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: air seeders, augers, bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, combines or other harvesting equipment, dirt moving equipment, GPS guidance systems, grain carts, forklift, irrigation equipment, mowers and other landscaping equipment, pickups, cars, etc, planters, self-propelled machinery, semi trucks, skid steers, straight frame trucks, tillage equipment, tractor/trailer combinations, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: corn, soybeans, wheat. Must be able to speak and understand English.
