Overview
This is a Sales job through and through. Yes, there are customer service and administrative duties entailed, but at the end of the day the role is to sell repair jobs.
Answering phones with the intent of getting the customer to drop their vehicle off.
Once diagnosed, sell the customer on specified repair (you have 100% control of the pricing)
It is your responsibility to source out necessary parts and calculate how long the repair will take based off of AllData (labor guide), and charge the customer accordingly.
There is a base salary PLUS commission on revenue RECIEVED.
The previous Service manager was clearing $180,000 annually.
We are looking for someone that wants to eat what they kill, who's driven to make as much money as they'd like.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the service department, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality vehicle repairs
- Supervise service technicians, providing guidance to customers on diagnostics, repairs, and customer interactions
- Oversee estimating processes using advanced estimating software to accurately assess vehicle damage and repair costs
- Drive upselling initiatives by identifying additional services such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, suspension work, and transmission repairs
- Maintain excellent client communication, explaining repair procedures clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and dealership policies while managing daily operations
- Handle cash transactions, invoicing, and service writing with accuracy and integrity
Requirements
- Proven experience in auto service management or dealership service departments with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including transmissions, air brakes, shocks & struts, suspension components, tires, brakes, oil changes, and collision repair
- Familiarity with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools
- Service technician experience preferred to understand technical aspects of automotive repair processes
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and estimates
- Strong leadership skills to motivate your team toward achieving departmental goals
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for dealership or service center operations
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining professionalism under pressure
