AAM is searching for a Quality Coordinator to join our team. This position will be based out of our North Vernon, IN location.As a Quality Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining the quality assurance function to assure all quality systems meet requirements of IATF16949. You would be responsible for supervising and mentoring a trained technical staff as you maintain the Quality Assurance Program from incoming materials through finished goods inventory. Additionally, as Quality Coordinator you will step into responsibilities necessary to ensure continued quality operations in the absence of the Quality Manager.
Required Skills and Education
Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional experience.
7-10 years’ experience in a quality manufacturing environment.
3 years experience training and managing teams.
Strong experience with Quality processes (8D, 5Why, Fishbone, etc)
Strong experience managing documentation (FMEA, APQP, PPAP, GD&T, 5S).
Experienced in IATF16949 audits.
Strong knowledge of Supplier Quality.
