Manufacturing Engineering College Co-OpJob Description Summary
The Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op will support the engineering team in improving manufacturing processes, enhancing productivity, and ensuring product quality. This role is designed for college students pursuing a degree in engineering who want hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.Job Description
- Assist in developing and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Support implementation of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and recommend solutions.
- Participate in equipment troubleshooting and maintenance planning.
- Create and update work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Production, Maintenance) to resolve process issues.
- Assist in design and implementation of tooling, fixtures, and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Education
- Currently enrolled fulltime in a Bachelor’s or Graduate program focused on Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Sophomore or above class standing, graduating in December 2026 or later
- Able to work 25 hours each week, year-round.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Must be able to work in the US without Visa Sponsorship.
