About The Role
The Engineering Intern performs duties related to study of mass and energy balances, creation of drawings, and assists with the coordination of engineering projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop mass/energy balances
- Draft 2-D layout drawings
- Communication and coordination between engineering team and vendors and contractors
- Redline P&IDs, review existing P&ID’s
- Support engineering team with project schedule development
- Support engineering team with cost tracking
- Junior level standing or higher in course work leading to a chemical or mechanical engineering degree from an accredited 4-year college or university
- Ability to perform assigned tasks and complete work with minimal supervision
- Eagerness to learn and accept challenges
- Able to handle multiple tasks
- Good communication skills
- Strongly proficient in Microsoft Office. Working knowledge of Excel including macros
