Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Finance Accounting Intern role located in Houston, TX. The intern will assist with preparing and analyzing financial statements, supporting the finance team with daily accounting operations, ensuring data accuracy in accounting software, and contributing to financial reporting processes. Additional responsibilities may include reconciling accounts, evaluating financial data, and providing insights for decision-making.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Financial Statements and foundational knowledge of Finance
- Strong Analytical Skills for data evaluation and problem-solving
- Experience or familiarity with Quickbooks Desktop; Fishbowl and Excel
- Excellent Communication skills for collaborative and clear reporting
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively under supervision
