We are seeking a reliable and helpful Female Home Care Aide to assist a female client in the Riverhead area. The client is largely independent but suffers from back trouble and needs assistance with daily tasks to prevent strain.
Flexible Schedule Options (22 Hours Total)
We are offering two ways to structure these hours based on your location and availability:
- Option A (3 Days): 8-hour shifts on any three of the following days: Sunday, Monday, Friday, or Saturday.
- Option B (Riverhead Residents): 4 hours per day (Mon–Fri) with two of those days extended to 5 hours.
Responsibilities
- Light Personal Care: Assist with tasks that may strain the client's back (reaching, bending, etc.).
- Household Support: Light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry.
- Companion Care: Provide steady support and monitoring as she navigates her daily routine.
- Mobility Assistance: Ensure the client remains safe while performing her own tasks.
Requirements
- Certification: Valid NYS HHA or PCA certificate.
- Gender: Female (Patient preference).
- Physical Ability: Must be able to assist with light household tasks.
- Language: Must be fluent in English.
