Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the nursing staff across all branches, including training, evaluation, and scheduling
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting professional development and continuing education opportunities for nursing staff and clinical staff
- Ensure high-quality patient care through effective assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing services
- Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Monitor patient outcomes and address any issues or concerns promptly
- Ensure all branches comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accreditation standards
- Conduct regular audits and quality assurance reviews at each branch to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation across all branches.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure effective communication and patient satisfaction
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences across all branches.
- Assist in the development and management of the nursing budget for all branches, ensuring cost-effective delivery of care
- Contribute to the strategic planning and development of the home care agency’s services and programs across all branches
- Identify opportunities for growth and improvement in patient care and services
- Regularly visit each branch to oversee operations and ensure consistent application of policies and procedures
- Provide support and guidance to branch managers and nursing staff to address any challenges and ensure a high standard of care
- Conduct state surveys for all branches and create plan of correction
- Hold monthly and quarterly Quality Assurance meetings
- Investigate incidents, complaints and grievances in order to action accordingly to our policies and to the wellbeing of our clients and team members
- Coordinate with Administrator planning activities to develop administrative policies and practices for the Agency
- Perform and prepares probationary and annual performance evaluations for professional staff
