Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive national sales strategy to achieve revenue goals across multiple product lines, including sponsorships, advertising, and exhibits.
  • Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners, vendors, and sponsors, ensuring long-term collaboration and repeat business.
  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand AAHOA’s network of partners and clients.
  • Event Sales: Lead sales efforts for AAHOACON, regional conferences, trade shows, and other key events, maximizing exhibitor and sponsorship participation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, events, and membership teams to align sales initiatives with organizational goals and member needs.
  • Contract Negotiation: Manage contract negotiations with partners and sponsors to ensure mutual value and compliance with AAHOA policies.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Track and analyze sales performance, providing regular updates to leadership on progress, trends, and opportunities.
  • Market Insights: Stay informed about hospitality industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to refine sales strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably within the hospitality, travel, or event industries.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of the hospitality industry and its key players.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to travel nationally as required to attend events and meet with clients.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus.
  • Experience working with associations or membership-based organizations.
  • Familiarity with sponsorship and exhibit sales for trade shows or large-scale events.


Qualifications

  • Experience working with a CRM

Salary : $85,000 - $110,000
