The ERT performs selected patient care tasks, under the direction of a licensed nurse, to assist in the delivery of patient care. She/he also performs, when necessary, clerical duties and assists the Emergency Center staff in maintaining records and completing reports. He/she coordinates communications between Emergency Center staff, the patient, and interdisciplinary departments. Is accountable for all patient care she/he gives in the Emergency Center. Qualifications include a high school degree or equivalent; current NC CNA listing; BLS; one year of critical care experience preferred; familiarity with Microsoft Office; excellent communication & organization skills; diplomacy, tact, and a positive approach to problem solving.Careers
