What are the responsibilities and job description for the FedEx Delivery Driver position at AAGA Ventures Inc?
AAGA Ventures is looking for a full time FedEx Ground Delivery Driver. We are a premier FedEx Delivery Service Provider based out of the Augusta, GA terminal.
CDL License is NOT required
If you have experience as a Non CDL Driver, Route Driver, Truck Driver, Courier, Pick Up Driver, or Delivery Driver for companies like Amazon, UPS, DoorDash, Pizza Hut, FedEx Ground, Domino's, MDM Delivery Service, Summit Logistics, Mills River Logisitics, Local Carolina Logistics, DC Express, or any other similar company you may be the perfect candidate.
Delivery Driver Compensation:
- $140 - $175 per day
- Paid Weekly via Direct Deposit
- Paid Training (1-2 weeks)
Delivery Driver Requirements:
- Valid DL, Clean Background, MVR, and Drug Screen
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) for the past 36 months
- 1 year within the past 3 years of verified experience as a full-time driver (ie. taxi driver, Uber/Lyft driver, pizza driver, FedEx driver, etc.)
- Must not have more than 1 accident in the previous 36 months
- Must be able to get in and out of vehicle 140-175 times per day
- Be able to lift 70 lbs.
Delivery Driver Duties:
- Operate a truck / step van in a variety of weather and traffic conditions (18' to 22' in length)
- Shift time: 8:00 am - Delivery Completion
- Ability to use handheld scanner
- Pickup and deliver packages to/from customer locations in a timely manner
- Inspect and monitor delivery vehicle (before and after shift)
- Maintain accurate inventory of packages
- Weekend work required
Delivery drivers will be operating out of the terminal located at 2002 International Blvd, Augusta, GA 30906 with delivery routes servicing residential and business areas. Our delivery drivers will be operating cargo vans and 14' step vans provided by the employer.
