Role Description
This is a remote, contract role for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer. The role involves maintaining and improving the reliability, scalability, and performance of systems and infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include troubleshooting complex issues, collaborating with development and operations teams, implementing automation solutions, and optimizing system performance. The engineer will play a key role in ensuring optimal operational efficiency, reliability, and security.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Site Reliability Engineering principles with proven ability to apply them effectively.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues across various systems and infrastructure.
- Experience in Software Development and ability to write clean, efficient, and scalable code.
- Expertise in System Administration, including managing servers, operating systems, and network configurations.
- Understanding of Infrastructure technologies, with a focus on cloud-based solutions and automation tools.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; relevant certifications are an advantage.
- Experience with monitoring tools, CI/CD pipelines, and disaster recovery planning is preferred.
