Role Description
The Outreach Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role located in Dallas, TX. This position is responsible for developing, coordinating, and
implementing outreach initiatives to increase awareness, access, and engagement in behavioral health services. This position also focuses on building partnerships with community organizations, facilitating education and engagement opportunities, and connecting individuals to behavioral health resources and programs. In addition to outreach, this position will focus on administrative tasks that are given by the Outreach and Admissions Director.
Essential Functions
-Plan, organize, and conduct outreach events and presentations to promote
behavioral health awareness and program visibility.
-Build and maintain relationships with community partners, healthcare providers, schools, and social service agencies.
-Identify and engage individuals and groups who may benefit from behavioral
health services and facilitate linkages to care.
-Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to coordinate referral
processes and ensure follow-up on client engagement.
-Develop and distribute outreach materials including brochures, social media
content, and informational packets.
-Track and report outreach activities, community contacts, and engagement
metrics for program evaluation.
-Assist with program development initiatives, community assessments, and
marketing strategies to enhance service reach.
-Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute insights from community engagement efforts.
-Ensure all outreach activities adhere to organizational policies, cultural
competency standards, and confidentiality requirements.
Education / Experience / Skill Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Health, Psychology, Communications,
or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.
-Bilingual (Spanish speaking) preferred
-Minimum of 2 years of experience in outreach, community engagement, or
behavioral health service coordination.
-Knowledge of community resources, behavioral health systems, and social
determinants of health.
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse populations.
-Demonstrated ability to plan events, deliver presentations, and develop
collaborative relationships.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems for data tracking.
-Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
