Inventory & Sales Support Specialist

Location: St. Petersburg, FL – On-site
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: 5 days a week, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, including one weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday, your
choice)
Pay: $18 – $25 per hour
About Us
America's Auction Channel is a television and online auction company selling estate jewelry, gemstones,
watches, coins, artwork, sculptures, antiques, historical items, and one-of-a-kind collectibles. Every
shipment brings something new, and we need an organized, curious person to help us research, catalog, and
sell it.
About the Role
In this hands-on role, you'll take items from the receiving department to a finished online listing. You'll check
in new shipments, research what each piece is, photograph it, write descriptions that sell it, and list it across
our sales channels. You'll work closely with our sales team to keep inventory accurate and moving.
A Typical Day
- Receive incoming shipments and check items against the invoice
- Research each item: maker, artist, era, materials, markings, and signatures
- Weigh and measure items, including gemstones and jewelry (recording estimated carat weights when
applicable)
- Photograph items with a smartphone
- Write taglines and detailed descriptions that highlight each item's features and value
- Enter item details and photos into our inventory system
- List items on social media and e-commerce platforms
- Update the team on new arrivals and help sales staff move product
- Keep shelves and storage organized, with every item SKU'd and in its correct location
Responsibilities
- Receive, organize, and document new inventory
- Balance physical inventory against invoices
- Research jewelry, gemstones, art, antiques, coins, and collectibles
- Keep inventory records accurate in our computer system
- Create and cross-post listings on e-commerce and social platforms
- Help prepare items for upcoming television and online auctions
- Support the sales team to increase sales and product turnover
What Helps (Preferred, Not Required)
- Data entry and inventory control experience
- Experience listing items on eBay, Etsy, Whatnot, or other online marketplaces
- Social selling on Instagram or TikTok
- Smartphone product photography
- Auction house experience
- Knowledge of jewelry, gemstones, art, antiques, coins, or collectibles

Requirements
- Must pass a background check
- Available 5 days a week, 10 AM – 6 PM, including one weekend shift per week (Saturday or Sunday)
- Able to lift and handle items up to 40 lbs
