Position Summary
Under direction of the director of investments, the investment operations analyst (analyst) helps to coordinate the investment operation activities for the Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) Retirement System Trust (pension). The analyst also helps oversee operational activities for the MCPS defined contribution plans. The analyst is a key member of the team and serves as a liaison for both pension and defined contribution plans, with a diverse range of internal and external contacts, including investment managers, consultants, financial advisors, actuaries, and attorneys. The analyst researches, provides guidance for, and processes complex pension and defined contribution plan questions and transactions. Physical Demands: None Special Requirements: Position requires periodic night and weekend work to meet deadlines. Occasional travel to attend meetings with investment managers.
