Commercial Waterproofing Estimator I

Dynamic, Denver based Residential and Commercial Waterproofing company seeking to hire a full-time Estimator I. Ideal candidate would be an experienced estimator with familiarity of construction estimating standards. Out company operate in greater Denver and outlying areas of Colorado and a market leader in the waterproofing industry.

Applicants will perform take-offs, compose estimates, and submit proposals for various waterproofing scopes requested by General Contractors. Applicant will have to become familiar with company cost association and waterproofing application methods. This position will require limited time out in the field/on job sites. The job will entail communicating with clients throughout the bid process, assembling quotation submittal packages, and communicating and coordinating with company field management personnel. We do not have remote opportunities for this position, all work is in office.

The following are preferred skills or experience that will enhance potential employment and initial compensation offers:

·       Experience reading blueprints/plans/specifications.

·       Working knowledge of construction terminology and methodology.

·       Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office computer software including Word and Excel.

·       Excellent math, writing, communication (English), customer service, and organizational skills.

·       Experience reading/navigating/understanding construction contracts and legal documents.

·       Knowledge of interpreting architectural drawings or renderings and computing square foot or lineal foot estimates.

·       Prefer experience assembling Quotation Proposals with product information, general conditions, descriptions of services being and associated documentation supporting proposed pricing.

·       Prefer current knowledge of waterproofing products and services.

·       Prefer experience performing estimates of commercial waterproofing proposals.

·       Prefer experience with Bluebeam Revu software.

The initial salary range for the position is dependent on experience and qualifications, we are willing to negotiate.

Job type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000 - $90,000 depending on experience
