AAA USA is looking for a Aerospace Quality Inspector for a Direct Hire position in Wichita, KS!
Job Duties:
- Adhere to General Work Requirements.
- Perform Return to Service processes and approve aircraft for return to service in accordance with applicable regulations and as authorized by the Repair Station Accountable Manager.
- Upon aircraft arrival, obtain associated documentation, inventory and secure all aircraft records as required.
- Perform inspections of aircraft, engines, parts, components, precision tools, equipment and other materials in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
- Inspect aircraft maintenance and in-process inspections for repairs and alterations performed by Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to verify and approve corrective actions.
- Inspect all new, repaired and rebuilt parts/components upon receipt for physical damage, quantity and conformity.
- Ensure all work packages, orders, forms, arrival records and maintenance actions are accurately documented.
- Ensure all applicable customer-specific and aircraft manufacturer documentation is completed accurately.
- Research aircraft drawings and technical data, including engineering orders and other applicable technical documentation, as required.
- Perform walk-around inspections of aircraft prior to release from maintenance when required.
- Assist customers as required.
- Perform other tasks as required.
Requirements:
- 3–4 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
- At least 2 years of corporate and/or commercial jet experience.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and aircraft maintenance manuals.
- Ability to read, write and understand English.
- Valid FAA A&P Certificate required.
