Position Summary:
AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Bayou La Batre, AL that is the leading boat builder specializing in push boats, both with azimuth thrusters and conventional shaft and propeller.
A Pipe Welder is responsible for performing high-quality welds on stainless steel and copper-nickel piping systems. Work is performed using Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW/TIG) and other approved welding processes in accordance with industry standards.
Essential Functions:
- Perform pipe welding on stainless steel and copper-nickel piping systems.
- Utilize GTAW/TIG welding and other applicable welding techniques.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
- Work safely at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
- Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and maintain professional working relationships.
Requirements
- Experience as a Pipe Welder, preferably in shipbuilding or heavy industrial settings.
- GTAW/TIG welding (stainless steel and copper-nickel required).
- Ability to work from blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of safety practices and shipyard protocols.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.

Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
