Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, cleaning, and repair of swimming pools, ensuring they are safe and enjoyable for our clients. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently in various environments.
Duties
- Perform regular pool cleaning and maintenance tasks, including skimming, vacuuming, and brushing pool surfaces.
- Inspect pool equipment for functionality and safety, addressing any issues promptly.
- Conduct water quality tests and adjust chemical levels as necessary to maintain safe swimming conditions.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for equipment repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their pool needs and maintenance schedules.
- Document all services performed and report any significant findings or recommendations to management.
Skills
- Proven experience as a service technician in pool cleaning or maintenance is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair pool equipment effectively.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
