Insurance Operations Specialist

AAA Oregon/Idaho is looking for a process-driven, detail-oriented Operations Specialist to join our Insurance Administration team in Portland, OR!

The Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting the Insurance Administration team, handling the day-to-day processes supporting insurance functions, focusing on efficiency, accuracy, and workflow optimization. Key duties include processing policy downloads and checking for adherence, maintaining accurate records, improving systems, using strong analytical, communication, and technical skills in Excel and EPIC software.

Desired Skills

• High school education or equivalent.
• Property & Casualty insurance license preferred, not required.  Training for non-licensed candidates available. 
• Previous P&C Insurance Agent or Insurance Agency Customer Service experience is required. 
• Organizational and time management skills required. 
• Must possess strong interpersonal communication skills. 
• Ability to read, speak and write English and perform basic math.
• Requires attention to detail.
