Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Fence Installer located in Charleston, SC. The Fence Installer will be responsible for installing various types of fences, including wood, vinyl, aluminum, and chain-link, in residential and commercial settings. Daily tasks include measuring and planning fence layouts, digging post holes, setting posts, attaching fence panels, and ensuring the completed fence meets quality and safety standards. The Fence Installer will also be expected to maintain tools and equipment, follow safety protocols, and provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Experience in fence installation, construction, or a related field
- Ability to read and interpret site plans and blueprints
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in carpentry or landscaping is a plus
