Key Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical system designs, including HVAC and plumbing, for commercial, residential, and institutional projects.
- Create and manage detailed Revit/BIM models, ensuring accuracy, coordination, and adherence to project standards.
- Produce construction drawings, specifications, and calculations that meet applicable codes and project requirements.
- Coordinate with architectural and engineering teams to resolve design conflicts and maintain overall project quality.
- Assist in performing load calculations, equipment selections, and system sizing.
- Support the integration of plumbing and, when applicable, electrical design components into coordinated building systems.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical input throughout the design process.
- Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and provide construction-phase support as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5-10 years of experience.
- Strong proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows (required).
- Knowledge of mechanical codes, standards, and industry best practices.
- Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- EIT or PE licensure is required.
