Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to lead and oversee our quality/wastewater processes within Employee Stock Ownership Company. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality systems. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of our products and enhancing customer relations. The Quality Engineer will collaborate across departments to implement best practices aligned with ISO 9001 regulations, and other relevant standards.
Duties
- Maintain comprehensive quality management systems aligned with ISO, and other automotive standards.
- Conduct regular quality audits to assess compliance with internal policies and external regulations, identifying areas for improvement.
- Lead quality inspections throughout the production process to ensure products meet established quality standards in production.
- Oversee quality control procedures, including sampling, testing, and analysis to verify product conformance.
- Manage quality systems documentation, including procedures, reports, and audit findings; ensure proper recordkeeping for compliance purposes.
- Lead cross-functional teams in root cause analysis and corrective action planning for quality issues.
- Provide training as needed on ISO 9001, QA/QC, and other quality practices for staff at all levels.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to integrate quality assurance into daily operations while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product quality and process efficiency; prepare reports for senior management.
Experience
- Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role with a focus on quality management.
- Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001 regulations applicable to manufacturing environments.
- Strong background in conducting quality audits and implementing quality systems aligned with industry standards such as ISO.
- Demonstrated expertise in applying process improvement tools within manufacturing settings.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams with excellent communication skills for effective regulatory compliance enforcement and project management.
- Familiarity with advanced analysis skills for root cause analysis and problem-solving related to product quality issues.
- Proven leadership ability in managing quality assurance teams while fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
