Job Summary
As a Plumbing Helper, you will work under the guidance of a Plumbing Service Technician to assist with residential plumbing service, repair, installs, and maintenance calls.

Tasks, Duties, & Responsibilities
- Participates in formal training and on-the-job instruction
- Assists Plumbing Service Technicians with diagnosing and repairing residential plumbing systems
- Helps with drain cleaning, fixture repair and replacement, water heater service, and other related in-home service calls
- Gathers, carries, and stages tools, parts, and materials needed for each job
- Operates a variety of hand and power tools needed for plumbing service and repair
- Protects customers’ homes by laying drop cloths and floor protection, and cleans the work area after each job
- Coordinates with team members to provide excellent customer service
- Helps maintain a clean, organized, and well-inventoried truck
- Participates actively in all training exercises, morning meetings, and retreats
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Experience
- Punctual, reliable, and must have strong communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and be a team player
- Attention to detail
- Prioritization and time management skills
- Mechanical aptitude and a strong desire to learn the plumbing trade
- Clean, safe driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- At least six months of experience in a similar field preferred
- Enrollment in or willingness to pursue a plumbing apprenticeship program preferred
