How You’ll Make an Impact

• Turn complex data into clear, meaningful insights that support smarter business decisions
• Help leaders and teams understand performance through easy‑to‑use dashboards and executive‑ready visuals
• Build trust in data by improving quality, consistency, and documentation
• Empower employees with self‑service analytics, certified datasets, templates, training materials, and ongoing support
• Promote strong data habits and make information more accessible across the organization

What You’ll Do

• Partner with business teams to understand their analytics needs, gather requirements, and help define KPIs, metrics, and data models
• Build, enhance, and maintain Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards using DAX, Power Query (M), and well‑designed data models
• Manage Power BI publishing and workspace content to keep dashboards organized and easy to access
• Write and improve SQL queries and views to support reporting and insights
• Collaborate with the Business Intelligence Developer to support reliable ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like Azure Data Factory
• Apply data warehousing best practices, including star and snowflake schemas, to create scalable, high‑performing solutions
• Configure row‑level security, data refresh schedules, gateways, and performance improvements such as aggregations and incremental refresh
• Create and maintain data governance resources, including business glossaries, data dictionaries, and documentation
• Explore and validate data to identify trends, spot issues, and recommend solutions
• Monitor BI usage and adoption, gather feedback, and continuously improve solutions using Agile practices
• Support ad‑hoc analysis, data investigations, and cross‑functional initiatives
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements

What You Bring to the Table:

• Bachelor’s degree is Information Technology, Business Analytics, Computer Science or related fields, or a combination of education and experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or business analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power BI (Desktop and Service), including DAX, Power Query (M), data modeling, and performance optimization.
• Strong SQL skills (e.g., T-SQL) and experience with relational databases; familiarity with Azure data services is a plus.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling (Kimball), ETL/ELT patterns, and data governance principles.
• Experience with project management tools (Jira preferred) and methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
• Ability to translate business questions into metrics and analytics solutions; strong data storytelling and visualization skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including comfort with exploratory data analysis and basic statistical techniques.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to work effectively across IT and business teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams).
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel in-state.
• Experience in membership-based organizations is a plus.
