We are seeking dependable team members to join our shipping and warehouse department as Warehouse Order Pickers. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that our auto parts are accurately located, safely transported between buildings on our property, and prepared for shipment. This is an entry-level opportunity with room for growth and advancement within the company, making it an ideal position for individuals looking to start or develop a career in warehouse operations.
Responsibilities- Locate and pick auto parts from warehouse inventory according to order requirements
- Safely transport auto parts between buildings on company property
- Assist in preparing parts for shipment to customers
- Maintain organization and cleanliness in the warehouse area
- Follow safety procedures and company guidelines at all times
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily shipping goals
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively
- Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods and performing physical activities such as reaching, bending, lifting, crouching, stooping, and walking
- Ability to occasionally lift items up to 50 pounds
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
- Previous warehouse or shipping experience is a plus, but not required
- Familiarity with auto parts is a plus, but not required
- The pay for this position is $18 - $20 / hour
