What You'll Do
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining the functionality, safety, and appearance of our facilities by:
- Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on building systems, including:
- Electrical
- Plumbing
- Painting
- Structural repairs
- Grounds maintenance
- Monitoring services provided by vendors, including housekeeping, landscaping, security, pest control, and HVAC contractors.
- Coordinating and assisting with incoming and outgoing shipments and deliveries.
- Supporting building security operations, including ID badge creation and access control management.
- Setting up meeting rooms and event spaces to meet business needs.
- Maintaining inventory levels and stock reports.
- Assisting with unloading deliveries and maintaining clean, safe grounds.
- Obtaining maintenance supplies from local vendors as needed.
- Coordinating transportation of company vehicles for repairs and maintenance.
- Responding to facility issues and emergencies in a timely manner.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 4-6 years of building maintenance, construction, facilities maintenance, or related experience.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and respond to urgent facility needs.
- Technical training or certifications in:
- HVAC
- Electrical
- Plumbing
- Experience working with vendors and contractors.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
