Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair automotive issues in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to identify problems with vehicles.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess their condition and recommend necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their vehicle needs and repair options.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components.
- New York State Inspection license is a huge plus
- Familiarity with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) is a plus.
- Engine Transmission replacements
- Timing belts and timing chains
- Experience using hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively.
- Previous experience in a dealership environment is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
