Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Personal Chef / Caterer to help prep weekly meals for our family.

Duties

• Prepare and cook customized meals for private clients or events, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation
• Plan menus that cater to specific dietary restrictions and preferences
• Oversee food production, ensuring proper handling, storage, and safety compliance
• Manage inventory control and procurement of ingredients to maintain optimal stock levels
• Supervise kitchen staff or team members during food preparation and service
• Coordinate catering services for events, including setup, serving, and cleanup
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in accordance with food safety regulations
• Lead menu planning efforts for special occasions or recurring client needs
• Manage shift schedules and oversee daily operations in a hospitality or restaurant setting when applicable
• Ensure excellent customer service by addressing client requests promptly and professionally

Skills

• Extensive culinary experience with a focus on fine dining and catering services
• Strong background in food safety standards and proper handling techniques
• Proven leadership and team management abilities within kitchen or food service environments
• Experience supervising staff, managing inventory, and controlling costs effectively
• Skilled in menu planning tailored to dietary needs such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or special diets
• Proficiency in food production, preparation, and presentation techniques
• Knowledge of restaurant management practices including shift management and food service operations
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in food handling and inventory control
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional communication skills with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction
