Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Alarm Technician located in Elyria, OH. The Alarm Technician will be responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and troubleshooting alarm systems and other life safety equipment. Day-to-day tasks include ensuring the effective operation of low voltage engineering systems, diagnosing and repairing system malfunctions, and working closely with clients to provide excellent customer service. The role is critical to maintaining clients’ safety and compliance with fire safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Low Voltage Engineering and related systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills, particularly in alarm and safety equipment
- Knowledge of Alarm Systems and Life Safety standards
- Strong Customer Service and communication skills
- Ability to work on-site in Elyria, OH
- Previous experience in fire safety or alarm systems is a plus
- Relevant technical certifications or training in fire alarm systems, low voltage systems, or safety equipment are highly desirable
