The Energy Engineer will assess and optimize energy use across facilities, systems, and equipment to support sustainable and cost-effective operations. Daily responsibilities include conducting energy audits, analyzing energy consumption data, modeling system performance, and identifying efficiency measures and renewable energy opportunities. Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Energy Engineering and Energy systems, with demonstrated experience in assessing and improving energy performance.
- Proficiency in Energy Management, including monitoring, benchmarking, and implementing energy-efficiency and conservation measures.
- Mechanical Engineering knowledge relevant to building systems, HVAC, and industrial processes, with the ability to translate theory into practical solutions.
- Advanced Analytical Skills for data analysis, modeling, forecasting, and interpreting energy consumption trends to drive actionable insights.
- Bachelor’s degree in Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline (master’s degree or professional certifications such as CEM are a plus).
- Familiarity with energy codes, standards, and incentive programs, as well as basic understanding of sustainability and decarbonization strategies.
- Proficient with relevant engineering and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, energy modeling software, building management systems, or similar platforms).
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
