On-Demand Medical Courier Driver (1099 Independent Contractor)

AA Courier Logistics LLC is looking for dependable and professional Independent Contractor Medical Courier Drivers to provide on-demand medical delivery services in and around Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
As a Medical Courier Driver, you will transport medical specimens, laboratory samples, pharmaceuticals, medical records, and other healthcare-related items from medical facilities to a designated laboratory or Fed Ex location. If you enjoy driving, working independently, and providing an essential service to the healthcare industry, we'd like to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver medical specimens, laboratory samples, pharmaceuticals, and medical documents.
- Complete deliveries safely, accurately, and within required timeframes.
- Follow all client instructions and delivery protocols.
- Use a smartphone and delivery app to receive and complete assignments.
- Maintain communication with dispatch regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Obtain electronic proof of pickup and delivery.
- Handle all medical items with care while maintaining confidentiality.
- Follow all traffic laws and safe driving practices.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable personal vehicle.
- Current automobile insurance.
- Smartphone with reliable data service.
- Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record review.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Previous courier, delivery, or medical courier experience is preferred but not required.
