We’re looking for a UI/UX Designer to support a leading financial services firm (client name confidential) on a high-visibility trading product. If you love turning complex workflows into simple, elegant user experiences—this one’s for you.
Role Overview
In this role, you’ll craft intuitive and visually compelling experiences for a technical trading platform. You’ll help evolve a design system, shape new features, and partner closely with front-end engineers to bring polished, user-centered designs into production.
You’ll thrive here if you’re product-minded, strong in interaction design, and comfortable simplifying complex financial concepts into clean, engaging interfaces.
Must-Have Skills
âś… 5 years of hands-on UI/UX design experience
âś… Strong experience with design systems new feature design
âś… Expert proficiency in Figma
âś… Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
âś… Strong UX principles, interaction design, and product thinking
âś… Experience collaborating with front-end development teams
âś… Ability to advocate for users and translate insights into design decisions
Nice-to-Have
âž• Financial services or trading product experience
Engagement Details
đź“Ť Location: Boston, MA (local candidates preferred; relocation open)
đź—“ Duration: 6 months (extension possible)
🏢 Work Model: Hybrid — onsite every other week (5 days/week during onsite)
đź’° Rate: Up to $60/hr on W2
