System Analyst

📢 Hiring: Data Systems Analyst (W2 Only | USC/GC Only)

📍 Westlake, TX (Hybrid — Onsite every other week, 5 days)

💵 Rate: $55/hr

We are looking for an experienced Data Systems Analyst to support complex data initiatives for a major financial services organization (client confidential). This role focuses on requirements gathering, data analysis, translating business needs, and supporting multi-platform, highly integrated data environments.

Ideal candidates have deep SQL expertise, strong data modeling knowledge, and experience working with financial domain data (alternative investments, asset management, investment banking, etc.).

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Gather and translate complex data requirements into precise functional specifications
• Analyze data across its lifecycle using advanced SQL
• Work with data engineers to define data flows, transformation logic, and data models
• Support cloud-based data warehousing solutions
• Document business and technical requirements clearly and concisely
• Bridge the gap between business stakeholders & technical teams
• Understand distributed systems and how multiple systems interconnect
• Support Agile ceremonies and collaborate in fast-paced, iterative environments

🎯 Must Have Skills

• Expert-level SQL (Oracle, Snowflake, ANSI SQL, etc.)
• AWS data warehousing technologies & cloud data model knowledge
• Strong Systems Analyst capabilities
• Experience defining data locations, flows, and lineage
• Strong understanding of distributed systems
• 6–8 years of experience in data and technology roles

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in financial services / asset management / alternative investments
• Understanding of complex security structures
• Background in venture capital, wealth management, or investment banking
