Position Summary
An experienced interior designer who manages projects from concept through construction, developing thoughtful and cohesive interiors that integrate architecture, furnishings, materials, and custom details. Collaborates closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams to deliver well-crafted, highly detailed spaces.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead interior design projects from concept through construction.
- Develop design concepts, finish palettes, furniture selections, textile selections, and material specifications.
- Design and document custom millwork, built-ins, furniture, and interior architectural details.
- Coordinate furnishings selection, procurement, ordering, installation, and project closeout.
- Lead client presentations, consultant coordination, site visits, and project documentation.
Qualifications
- 4-7 years of professional interior design experience
- Strong knowledge of interior architecture, custom millwork, furniture, lighting, textiles, finishes and FF&E
- Proficiency in Revit with experience producing coordinated construction documents
- Degree in Interior Design or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with a strong understanding of construction methods and detailing
Additional Experience
- NCIDQ certification or progress toward certification, preferred but not required
- Experience with luxury residential interiors and custom furniture design
- Experience managing furnishings, procurement and installation
- Proficiency in ArchiCAD
