Role Summary
The Product Owner (PO) for CRM–Outlook Integration will own the end-to-end product strategy, roadmap, and delivery of bi-directional integration between Our Client''s in-house CRM platform and Microsoft Outlook. This role is responsible for enabling seamless synchronization of emails, calendar events, contacts, and tasks to enhance advisor productivity, client engagement, and data integrity.
The PO will bring a strong understanding of financial advisor workflows, CRM-driven relationship management, and Microsoft 365 integration patterns.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision
- Define and execute the product vision for CRM–Outlook integration, with a focus on bi-directional communication and workflow automation.
- Identify opportunities to improve advisor productivity through contextual insights and embedded CRM capabilities within Outlook.
Backlog Ownership & Delivery
- Own and manage the product backlog, prioritizing features such as email capture, calendar sync, contact reconciliation, and activity tracking.
- Translate complex business and compliance requirements into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria.
Integration & Data Management
- Define requirements for bi-directional synchronization of emails, meetings, contacts, and tasks between Outlook and CRM.
- Ensure data accuracy, deduplication, identity resolution, and auditability across systems.
- Collaborate with engineering on APIs, event-driven architectures, and Microsoft Graph integrations.
Agile Execution
- Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure solutions align with financial services regulatory requirements (e.g., communication capture, audit trails, data retention).
- Partner with compliance and legal teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–10 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in enterprise or financial technology environments.
- Strong understanding of wealth management and financial advisor workflows, particularly CRM usage.
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Exchange, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Graph APIs.
- Proven experience delivering integration products, including email/calendar sync and system interoperability.
- Strong knowledge of data synchronization, APIs, event-driven systems, and identity resolution.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building Outlook add-ins or embedded CRM experiences within Microsoft 365.
- Familiarity with bi-directional integration patterns, including conflict resolution and near real-time sync.
- Background in wealth management, broker-dealer platforms, or advisor technology ecosystems.
- Experience working with in-house or highly customized CRM platforms.
- Certifications such as CSPO, PSPO, or equivalent Agile credentials.
Salary : $55 - $60
