A3 Technology, Inc. is seeking a VMware and IT Storage Administrator to join our Infrastructure Support team’s Data Center Services group. The VMware and IT Storage Administrator will manage storage for the Linux, Isilon, Avamar, and Nutanix environments, and support VMware, virtual machines, Disaster Recovery and DevOps projects.
Candidates must live within 20 miles of Oklahoma City, OK and will report onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Administer, operate, and maintain the enterprise data center.
- Perform infrastructure upgrades and improve physical and virtual servers.
- Perform capacity analysis and planning.
- Perform storage hardware maintenance, including drive swaps.
- Plan and perform server research, design development, and other assignments in conformance with customer specifications.
- Support weekend maintenance windows.
- Participate in the development of system designs, implantation tasks, and maintenance of systems.
- Produce and adhere to server documentation, configuration, and related processes.
- Perform server troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common hardware and operating system issues.
- Provide Tier III support for data centers.
- Perform emergency break/fix repairs.
Skills Required:
- Experience managing storage solutions for Nutanix, Avamar, and Isilon environments.
- Experience managing disaster recovery for a large IT environment (2,000 servers).
- Experience configuring storage for Virtual Machines.
- Experience with Zerto Replication.
- Experience with RedHat Linux 6 and up.
- Experience with VMware.
- Experience performing physical to virtual (P2V) migrations for servers.
- Experience with Powershell Scripting and PowerCLI.
- Experience with DevOps tools, e.g. Ansible, Terraform.
- Experience with Cisco routers, switches and VLAN architecture.
- Experience tracking and resolving incidents via ticket queue.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Ability to adhere to maintenance windows and change control procedures.
- Self-motivated to take ownership of projects.
- Ability to multi-task between multiple networks and multiple customer requirements.
Skills Preferred:
- Experience working with a large organization (>35,000 customers).
- Experience collaborating with peer and client teams.
- Experience with Tanium and/or Splunk.
- Experience with JIRA and/or ServiceNow.
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
Education:
- HS diploma/GED and 14 years IT experience OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, IT or related field and 8 years IT experience.
Additionally, US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US is a must. Upon receiving a conditional offer of employment, candidates will undergo a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for Government clearance. Verification of past employment, education and references is also required. It is imperative that candidates be either a US citizen or a current green card holder with the last 3 consecutive years as a resident of the US.
The salary range for positions is $50,000 to $175,000. This range is provided as a general guideline and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of compensation. Actual salary offers will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the specific responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. In addition, compensation may be influenced by applicable Federal Government contract labor categories and established contract wage rates.
