Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead audit engagements, manage client relationships, assess risks, and ensure compliance with GAAP, GASB, and FASB standards. The ideal candidate will oversee audit teams, deliver high-quality client service, and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion.
- Assess audit risks and develop audit procedures.
- Review financial data and ensure compliance with GAAP, GASB, and FASB.
- Communicate project status and deliverables to clients.
- Analyze accounting records using QuickBooks, Sage, or similar software.
- Mentor audit staff and support department initiatives.
- Identify client needs and recommend additional professional services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- CPA license required.
- 5 years of public accounting experience.
- 2 years of management experience preferred.
- 4 years of governmental auditing experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, GASB, FASB, Microsoft Office, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
License/Certification:
- CPA (Preferred)
