What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plumbing/Mechanical Designer Engineer position at A3 Engineering LLP?
The person in the Plumbing/Mechanical Designer position should have a Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering Degree or have 3 years of experience designing Plumbing systems. This person will responsible for designing plumbing systems and for coordinating with other disciplines including mechanical, electrical, architectural, and structural. Those successful in their role will have strong desire to learn and work as a team, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and high-quality drawing set organization within their assigned projects. A3 Engineering exclusively uses AutoDesk Revit and BIM 360 and applicants must be well versed in these platforms.
Qualifications:
- Mechanical or Architectural Engineering Degree (or equivalent)
- 3-7 years of Plumbing/Mechanical HVAC Design Experience
- EIT | PE | CPD Certifications are preferred
- Excellent Knowledge and Proficiency of Revit / BIM360
- Experience with Multi-Story / Multi-Family Plumbing Design is preferred
- Strong Knowledge of Building, Mechanical, and Plumbing Codes
- Strong Knowledge of the Plan Review process
- Strong Knowledge of Restaurant Design Plumbing Systems is preferred
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
