Duties
- Safely operate a box truck to pick up and deliver goods according to scheduled routes
- Load and unload cargo using manual lifting techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts as needed
- Ensure all deliveries are accurate, complete, and documented properly
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with clients during deliveries
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety inspections before and after trips
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during route driving
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory, organizing shipments, and managing stock levels when required
Experience
- Prior delivery driver experience with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred
- Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation skills to optimize delivery efficiency
- Experience with warehouse operations, including heavy lifting and moving inventory
- Familiarity with forklift operation and pallet jacks is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; proficiency in manual transmission is advantageous
- Physical ability to lift heavy items repeatedly and perform manual tasks safely
