Licensed Plumber

Job Summary

A2B Plumbing LLC is looking for an experienced, dependable Licensed Plumber to join our team. We serve residential and commercial customers throughout Shawnee and Douglas counties, providing everything from everyday plumbing repairs to larger sewer, water service, water heater, and remodeling projects.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing systems
• Repair and replace water lines, sewer lines, drains, fixtures, faucets, toilets, and other plumbing components
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and replace traditional and tankless water heaters
• Perform drain cleaning and troubleshoot backed-up or slow drainage systems
• Perform sewer inspections using camera and diagnostic equipment
• Complete sewer and water service repairs and replacements
• Assist with bathroom remodeling and plumbing fixture installation
• Identify plumbing problems and explain repair or replacement options clearly to customers
• Read and interpret plumbing plans, measurements, schematics, and job specifications when needed
• Follow Kansas plumbing codes, local codes, manufacturer specifications, and A2B Plumbing standards
• Safely operate plumbing tools, drain equipment, cameras, power tools, and other job-site equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and protect the customer's property while working
• Keep company vehicles, tools, and equipment clean and properly maintained
• Accurately document work performed, materials used, photos, recommendations, and job information
• Communicate professionally with customers, office staff, technicians, contractors, and other trades
• Participate in emergency and after-hours service when scheduled
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, workmanship, efficiency, and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• Current plumbing license applicable to the work being performed
• Previous residential plumbing service and repair experience strongly preferred
• Commercial plumbing experience is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Experience with sewer and drain systems, water services, fixtures, water heaters, and general plumbing repairs
• Ability to operate sewer cameras, drain cleaning equipment, hand tools, and power tools
• Knowledge of plumbing codes and proper installation practices
• Ability to accurately measure, calculate, and determine proper pipe sizing and system layouts
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to explain plumbing problems and recommended solutions in a way customers can understand
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to safely lift and move plumbing materials, equipment, water heaters, fixtures, and piping
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently while also being part of a team
• Must take pride in completing clean, professional work

Pay: $32.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
