What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Phlebotomist (Certified) position at A2A Integrated Logistics Inc?
General Requirements - Certified Phlebotomist:
- Shift 8am to 4pm daily.
- Must have active Cell phone.
- Must have reliable transportation to reach office daily.
- Must be willing to undergo national background check.
- Must be willing to undergo pre-employment drug screening and random drug tests during employment.
- Must have active driver’s license & clean driving record; no major infractions past 3 years.
- High school diploma or equivalent, as well as Phlebotomy certification (recognized in state of WA) from an accredited agency.
- Must be registered/licensed in state of WA.
- Completion of an approved phlebotomy training course (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a patient service technician/phlebotomist.
Proficiency in the following: blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups, urine drug screen collections, PCR tests specimen collections, pediatric blood collections, and difficult draws (patients in long-term care facilities, drug rehabilitation facilities, prisons, psychiatric facilities, or similar facilities)
Qualifications:
- Certificate or formal training course in Phlebotomy. Or
- Related field and experience in a medical institution or clinic setting Or
Preference will be given to candidates who have the following qualifications:
- United States military veterans.
- Strong knowledge, training, and experience in health management.
- Experience with tracking and compiling medical records.
