Experienced OTR Truck Dispatcher – Fully Remote

100% Remote | Minimum 3–4 Years OTR Trucking Dispatch Experience | Performance-Based Pay

We are a growing trucking company looking for a sharp, experienced, highly motivated OTR Truck Dispatcher to join our team.

This is NOT an entry-level position. You must have at least 3–4 years of direct OTR TRUCKING dispatch experience. Dispatch experience outside the trucking industry does not qualify.

We need someone who is an excellent multitasker, starts early, stays responsive, thinks ahead, and genuinely cares about the performance of the trucks they manage.

Responsibilities & Required Experience

You must be experienced with:

Finding profitable loads and negotiating strong rates with brokers

Managing multiple OTR trucks and drivers simultaneously

Planning loads and reloads while minimizing deadhead and downtime

Understanding freight markets, rate per mile, and strategic truck positioning

Planning fuel stops and helping drivers reduce fuel costs

Considering fuel, tolls, deadhead, destination market, and reload opportunities before booking

Handling rate confirmations, BOLs, PODs, detention, layovers, TONUs, and tracking

Working with Highway, carrier/broker setups, COIs, and compliance requirements

Handling customer/account requirements, including Aramark

Strong knowledge of ELD systems, DOT Hours of Service (HOS), and driver log compliance

Monitoring drivers’ available drive/on-duty/cycle hours before booking loads

Understanding breaks, resets, recap hours, Personal Conveyance, and Yard Move

Identifying legitimate ELD/log issues and helping drivers resolve them through proper procedures

Planning every pickup and delivery around the driver’s legal available hours

Solving day-to-day trucking problems quickly and independently

You should always be thinking: What is the best rate? How much deadhead is involved? Where should the driver fuel? What is the destination market? What is the reload plan? How can I make this truck more profitable?

Compensation

This is a performance-based percentage position with strong earning potential.

Compensation is based on:

Verified Gross Revenue − Verified Fuel Costs − Verified Tolls = Adjusted Gross Revenue

Base Performance: 1%

Strong Performance: Up to 1.25%

Excellent Performance: Up to 1.5%

Additional performance bonuses may be available.

Transparent Pay

Our compensation system is clear and verifiable.

There are no hidden deductions or changing expense categories. Truck payments, insurance, maintenance, repairs, and company overhead are NOT deducted when calculating dispatcher compensation.

Gross revenue is supported by rate confirmations, and fuel/toll expenses are supported by actual transaction records. A clear compensation breakdown will be provided.

Requirements

Minimum 3–4 years OTR Trucking dispatch experience

Strong U.S. freight market knowledge

Excellent broker negotiation skills

Strong ELD/HOS/DOT compliance knowledge

Excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills

Strong English communication

Reliable internet, phone, and remote workspace

Must be available early in the morning and remain responsive during operating hours

Must be dependable, accountable, and able to work independently

Applicants without direct OTR trucking dispatch experience will not be considered.
