Job Summary
The Construction Foreman will directly supervise and coordinate the activities of construction labors daily performance. The Construction Foreman will perform tasks involving physical labor at parking lots by operating one or several types of maintenance equipment. This position requires routine repair and maintenance of equipment in addition to other duties. The Construction Foreman will communicate daily the project status with key stakeholders in the project. In addition, the Foreman will ensure that all materials are installed per specifications for the project and all work is completed with A1 Professional Asphalt & Sealing, LLC. standards.
Responsibilities
- Experience with Emulsion & Cold Tar sealers. (Preferred)
- Experience with seal coating and/or other equipment. (Preferred)
- Experience with asphalt patching, crack fill, and concrete. (Preferred)
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction workers on-site.
- Display good leadership and teamwork skills.
- Manage project schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Oversee the quality control processes to ensure all work meets industry standards.
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations to develop and maintain job budgets.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
- Proficient in using construction management software such as OneCrew.
- Budgeting skills with the ability to manage project costs effectively.
- Ability to build strong teams and manage personnel effectively.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on quality control.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must have a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
We are looking for individuals with a CDL A with Non-Airbrake Endorsement (Preferred).
Must have a clean/valid driver's license (No DUI's) - REQUIRED
Must be 21 years old or older to apply.
Day shifts and overnight shifts are available.
Travel may be required, depending on the crew you are assigned to.
